Events
The Pet Resource Center operates a shelter that accepts cats and dogs regardless of age, breed, size, or medical condition, and attempts to find them permanent or foster homes. The department handles pet registration tags, and offers spay/neuter vouchers for the pets of income-qualifying residents.Read More

Raegan Marie Welshon
1/29/2018 - 6/14/2024 Raegan and her sister / littermate Riley Jean were inseparable! Raegan was the vocal one and always letting us know what time it was: breakfast, dental treat, afternoon kong, dinner, and ice cream time. She was the heart of our family, and life is hard without her. We've never known a dog with so much personality. We miss her so much. We can only imagine the loss Riley feels.
Prince Daniels
12/09/2010 - 9/08/2024 Prince was always cheerful and loving which made him become everyone’s favorite friend. He’s probably one of the fewest dogs that have traveled the world. He will truly be missed. Lionel & Alicia Daniels
Bear Pickel
4/20/08 - 7/6/24 Bear "Mr. Bear" gave my children and I 16 wonderful years of love. He was the sweetest little boy and so funny. His favorite toy was his Bo-Bo, which he carried everywhere with him and his greatest joy was to curl up behind your knees and sleep. He was our little "velcro" doggie and we miss him terribly. We are at peace knowing he is running free again without any pain.
Fifi Meredith
Date of rescue 6/2017 (Oscar Animal Rescue) Date of passing 5/2024 When Kevin went to the shelter and met Fifi, she rolled on her back and let him rub her stomach- from that moment on, she owned him. Fifi was the sweetest, loving dog you could ever want. We got her for my mom who lived with us. On her 1st day with us, Kevin said to Fifi, "This is Bubbe . . its your job to take care of her, which she did faithfully until Mom passed in 2018. She was a small dog with a big personality. We miss her every day.

Pet Paradise Ileana Turner Recommendation: Pet Paradise does Grooming, Day Care and Vet Services. I use them for Rusty's grooming and have been very satisfied. The vibe is positive and Rusty never comes home stressed. I have not used their Vet services but have also used the Day Care and find it to be a useful resource.
